Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2023 Audi SQ5- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch rack receiver kit on a 2023 Audi SQ5. Now this is what your hitch will look like when it's installed and you may be wondering, well, where is it And that's where it gets the name Stealth Hitch because when you're not using your hitch, it's going to give you a completely factory look because the receiver block is hitting right here behind the fascia. And so when you are ready to load up accessories it's as simple as turning a knob back, locking that in place, and putting in your two inch receiver tube opening. And with that lock in place you're ready to start using your hitch. Now with your two inch receiver tube opening in place you're ready to load up your bike rack or cargo carrier and it's gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch installation kit but it is required to get your accessories in place and a lot of times your accessories will come with one if you want to pick up a locking version that's pretty nice to have if you plan on leaving those accessories on. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Audi SQ5- Video

Everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2019 Audi SQ5, I'm gonna walk you how to install, and draw tight Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch are gonna look like when it's installed, you can see the only thing we can really see is our receiver too, so it's not gonna take away from the look of the vehicle. Our neighbor here, got this hitch because they're gonna be putting a bike rack on it using it mostly for a bike rack. However, being a class three it's gonna have a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, so they decide they wanna tow something later on, they're more than capable of using this hitch to do that. Hitch pin hole is gonna be five eights inch in diameter, it's gonna take a standard five eights hitch pin. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Audi SQ5- Video

Hi there Audi owners, turn your 2022 Audi SQ5. We're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Class 3, 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube's gonna be hidden completely behind the bumper here at the back, so you're just gonna see the receiver here at the back. I like the way that it kind of sticks out, it doesn't stick out past the bumper kind of flows right into it. There's an opening cut out here, that is existing in the bumper already of your Audi, so it just kind of fits right through there, there's no modifications we had to make to the fascia for it to fit through, so that's really nice, it looks very nice on here. more

Speaker 2: Today in this 2017 Audi SQ5, we will be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class 111 Trailer Hitch receiver, part number 75940.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. First thing you'll notice about this hitch is that it's designed to work inside the factory cutout in the bumper, and it does that nicely with no trimming or modification required, so it does give us a nice clean look. Many of our customers on our website has said they've purchased this hitch for their Q5 or their SQ5 in order to use it with bike racks and cargo carriers, and they've all said it has worked great for them, with plenty of clearance around the fascia, and it allows them bring all their gear with them when they go on the road.One of the questions that we do get on our website is, if the vehicle is equipped with backup sensors like this one, is that with the bike rack installed on the hitch, will the backup sensors be activated And the answer is yes, but that's only when you have the vehicle in reverse, and that's because the bike rack will be right in front of the sensor and it's going to set up the proximity warning. But when you're driving down the road, going straight in drive, you don't have to worry, there'll be no beeps or warnings or any alert messages on the dash. Everything will be just like normal.On the side of our receiver, you'll find two pin holes, the larger one closest to the front, that's your industry standard 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole for use with a pin and clip to secure your hitch mounted accessories.
